Meet Our Staff

Meet the experienced and friendly staff who make Bridle Trails Family Dentistry the leading provider of oral hygiene and personalized dental services in Kirkland.

Nancy

Office Manager

photo of nancyI have worked in the dental field for more than 35 years, the last 21 of those right here at Bridle Trails Family Dentistry. My hard work and attention to detail is what helps our office run smoothly from day to day, whether I’m putting together billings, processing payroll, or running our staff meetings. I also spend a lot of time with our patients, some of whom I’ve known for decades! It is so much fun to see patients as kids, watch them grow up, and now see their kids! This office is a fantastic place; we all have fun while we work!

I am married and have five kids and five grandkids. I enjoy running, hiking, working out, and just being active. I also love being with all my kids and grandkids on our annual trip to Seaside, Oregon in the summer.

Veronica

Front Office Coordinator

Photo of VeronicaI completed a dental assisting program in Seattle in 2001 and joined Bridle Trails in the spring of 2007. As our front office coordinator, I schedule patient appointments, collect payments, and check patients in and out of their visits. I’m also available to assist Dr. Nomi if needed. Our patients are a great group of people, and getting to learn all about them is the best part of my job! Everyone, including each member of our team, is so unique and fun to work with!

After work, I love to hang out with my son, Dion. We love to go watch UW basketball, Mariners, Seahawks, and travel to Portland to watch the Trail Blazers. I also enjoy running 5Ks, practicing yoga, and playing co-ed flag football. I also love spending time with family and friends.

Kyli

Front Office Coordinator

Photo of KyliI completed a dental assisting program in 2009.  I have been with Bridle Trails Dentistry since August 2015.  I am responsible for greeting patients as they arrive, controlling the schedule, answering phones and various other office responsibilities. I also am able to assist as needed. I enjoy patient interaction and feel I learn something new every day.

Even though I have not been here long I feel like part of the office already. I was a patient here before I became an employee and feel honored to be a part of the team.

I spend most of my time with my husband and dog, Myah.  I love to support our local sports teams (Go Hawks!).  I also love outdoor adventures and take trips to see my family in Lake Chelan.  My hobbies include crafting, cooking, photography and always love shopping.

Judi

Registered Dental Hygienist

Photo of JudyI was born and raised in Canada and graduated from the University of Manitoba Dental Hygiene program in 1999. I moved to Seattle in 2001 and have enjoyed a successful dental hygiene career here at Bridle Trail Dentistry since 2009. I focus all my attention on my patients’ dental needs and issues, performing preventive care and providing education with detail and passion. It is my goal to reduce dental phobias and fears, and restore my patients’ dental health while developing personal relationships.

When I’m not at work, I love spending weekends with my amazing husband and good friends. A few of my favorite things are weight training, chocolate, and a really cute pair of heels!

Kersti

Registered Dental Hygienist

Photo of kerstiI received my BS in Dental Hygiene from Oregon Institute of Technology in 1994. After working in several other offices, I came to Bridle Trails in 2004. Aside from coming from a family of dentists and dental hygienists, my love of caring for people led me to pursue a career in dental hygiene. I love improving my patients’ oral health and appreciate the relationships and trust that I’ve built with them over the years. Everyone in our office cares a lot about what we do and are committed to doing the best we can.

I have two children, Kendrick and Chloe. We like to travel to beach destinations and visit family in France and travel Europe when we get the chance. We also love to cook as a family—the kids are learning to bake because they have a sweet tooth! We like to take family bike rides and go on nature walks, read, and support the performing arts. Both children participate in cultural dances with a Vietnamese dance troupe!

Connie

Certified/ Registered Dental Assistant

Photo of connieI began my dental assisting career in 1968 and just finishing celebrating my 46th year! In 2001, after a year of working in the UW School of Dentistry Restorative Clinic, I came to Dr. Nomi’s office as a full-time Certified Dental Assistant. I love working with our patients! I enjoy helping them achieve and maintain optimal dental health in a caring and comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Nomi is great to work with as well. He’s provided us with the privilege of participating in international dental mission trips, a truly eye-opening and deepening experience.

I am originally from Montana but moved to Seattle in 2001 to be closer to my kids. One still lives here and is an instructor at a local college. The other is a software engineer and lives/works in Stockholm, Sweden, which provides us with a great reason to travel! A big love in my life is Calvin, a 22-pound tabby cat who is nearly 19 years old! When I find a little time for myself, I enjoy swim aerobics, knitting, sewing, and reading.

Elizabeth

Certified/Registered Dental Assistant

Photo of ElizabethI graduated from Dental Assisting in southern California in 2008.  I worked there for my family dentist before moving to Washington state.  I joined Bridle Trails Dentistry in October 2015.  I work in all parts of general dentistry and assist Dr. Nomi in various procedures.  I’ve only been here a little while but everyone is friendly, kind and works together to provide the best care for our patients.

I am new to Washington moving here from the San Diego area.  I enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors.  I also enjoy crocheting and reading fantasy novels.

I have family who own a dairy farm so on my days off I tend to be there helping with the feeding calves and moving heifers and various other farm jobs.

Brittany

Registered Dental Hygienist

BrittanyI worked as a sterile technician prior to dental hygiene school, and have been working in dentistry since 2010. I came to Bridle Trails in 2016. My favorite part of my job is meeting and getting to know my patients, and also sharing and hearing about travel adventures. I love working with this team and Dr. Russ and Wes Nomi because of the positive atmosphere. We enjoy each other and work well together, so our patients can tell we enjoy being at work! Outside of the office, I love spending time with friends and family. Traveling and experiencing new cultures is a passion of mine. I enjoy learning new games, trying new restaurants, and competing with my husband at crossfit. We are also big Seattle sports fans!

Savannah

Registered Dental Hygienist

SavannahI attended Seattle Central College for my hygiene training, and was part of the first graduating Bachelors class! I began working in Bridle Trails in November of 2016, and love educating patients and finding ways to help improve their oral hygiene and overall health. The staff is what makes coming into work each day great, and seeing our happy patients.

When I’m not working, I love being active indoors and outside. Hiking, kayaking, swimming and exploring the PNW are my favorite weekends with family and friends!

Joanna

Registered/Certified Dental Assistant

Riahs

Front Office Coordinator/Sterilization Technician

I Joined the Bridle Trails Family Dentistry team in June 2017. After spending 5 years working in the medical/dental insurance field, I wanted to expand my knowledge of the dental field and join a great dental team that could help me reach this goal. I felt like part of the team immediately and have really enjoyed learning from, and working with everyone in the office. I split my time working up front to greet patients, schedule appointments, process payments, and check out patients as needed. The other part of my time is spent in the back as a sterilization technician where I ensure all instruments needed are clean, sterile, and ready to use!

I have 5 kids and enjoy spending my free time with them. When the weather’s nice we enjoy hiking and finding fun trails to explore! I am also a big Seahawks fan.
